My Story

I'm Sally, the owner of Sal Studios. I design and letterpress print wedding invitations, and I'm passionate about creating beautiful things with my hands.

Over 13 years ago, I walked into my first letterpress print shop. I was a sophomore in college studying Graphic Design, and I was going cross-eyed, staring at my computer screen designing all day. Letterpress was my great escape. It immediately felt like home.

I became the letterpress teaching assistant for the rest of my college years, and I loved educating my classmates about printing. Since then, I’ve sold my soul in corporate design jobs, interned at the renowned Hatch Show Print, and eventually took the leap and started my business 7 years ago.

After years of building my business and getting it to where it is today, I’m ecstatic to return to my original letterpress teaching days. I love to help others learn more about letterpress and see the creative and unique things every student creates.

I can’t wait to teach you too.
